Comp Screenshot

Comp Screenshot is a simple Utility plug-in that takes a pixel perfect screenshot of the active Composition and saves a PNG to the Desktop folder. Best of all, it's free.

Instructions

1. Download and put the plugin files in your After Effects Plug-ins folder.
2. Once installed, you'll see an option in the Composition Menu, a new item called "Take Comp Screenshot".

3. Click that Menu item and a PNG file of the composition at the current time in the timeline will be saved to your Desktop folder.

Mac OS X Keyboard Shortcut (Optional)

If you're on a Mac, you can also create a nifty keyboard shortcut using these instructions.

Will it ever support JPG?

Nope.
